Bei Serendipia unterstützen wir sehr fest den Respekt vor der Natur und Tierwelt, wir arbeiten hart für eine umweltfreundliche Mode, die langsam, jeden Tag, mehr verantwortlich mit unserer Welt wird und sich um sie kümmert und verbessert.

Wir glauben, dass tierische Materialien nicht benötigt werden um einzelne, modische und qualitätsvolle Produkte herzustellen, die deiner Tag zu Tag Serendipia werden. Wir können deswegen ganz stolz bestätigen dass alle unsere Serendipias 100% animal free sind.

Seit unserem Anfang haben wir stark gearbeitet um Produkte anzubieten, die Alternativen zu alltäglichen tierischen Produkten werden können. Dank unseres Lebenswegs, diese Idee wurde von PETA unterstützt, die Serendipia und unseren Rucksackkatalog zu den Firmen hinzugefügt hat, die die für eine bessere Umwelt und Natur arbeiten. In Serendipia benutzen wir keine Materialien die aus Tiere herkommen in keinem unserer Produkten und wir wurden deswegen von PETA als Vegan Approved zertifiziert.

PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals) ist mit über sechseinhalb Millionen Unterstützern die weltweit größten Tierrechtsorganisation. Seit 1980, PETA bringt bei ihren Tierschutz-Aktionen Wissenschaftler und die Organe der Rechtsprechung und Durchführung zusammen, um die Misshandlungen zu unterbinden.

Um den Bekanntheitsgrad und die Verbreitung von veganer Mode und veganen Accessoires zu fördern, setzt sich PETA in Zusammenarbeit mit Unternehmen der Modebranche kontinuierlich dafür ein, tierfreundliche Styles und Designs auf den Markt und in die Shops zu bringen. Um vegane Mode besser zu kennzeichnen, vergibt PETA ein Zertifikat, der es tierfreundlichen Unternehmen ermöglicht, ihre veganen Modeartikel sowie ihr Engagement für die Tiere sichtbar hervorzuheben.
Wenn du das Vegan Approved Logo von PETA siehst kannst du vertrauen, dass diesen Produkt ohner tierischen Mitteln hergestellt wurde, wobei unsere Umwelt und Tierwelt respektiert wurde!

Since our inception, the search for suitable partners for our adventure has been a determining factor. From a supplier of natural fabrics that meets the strictest European standards, to a transport company that offers 100% recycled packaging and works to offset its carbon footprint.

Organic cotton. A classic that evolves

From the first Serendipities that we sketched with simple paper and pencil while we imagined how we would like them to be, we already had something clear: it would be made with organic, natural, tremendously resistant cotton fabrics. They would be Serendipities made to last.
For cotton to be considered organic, its cultivation and treatment must meet a series of requirements both in its cultivation phase and in its subsequent treatment. Among them we could highlight some:
No insecticides, pesticides or chemical fertilizers are used, thus favoring the natural cycles of the earth.
The use and retention of water is managed more efficiently thanks to the increase in organic matter in the soil.
Organic and non-chemical fertilizers are added.
Crop rotation is used to make the land more productive.
No toxic substances are used in the spinning and production process.
In addition to this, the dyes that we use in its treatment are natural, without chemical components.
One of our cotton Serendipities will never have a deep or intense color like other brands that use other processes and synthetic dyes. Thanks to this, you will have a companion that is sustainable in its essence, resistant and above all, designed to last.
Recycled RPET. Surprise, no more.

In the search for new materials with added value, we found something special: What if we told you that our Waterproof collection is made from recycled plastic bottles?
All Waterproof Serendipia has been made from recycled fabrics, extracted from polyester from PET bottle waste. Producing this type of recycled polyester is better for the climate, creates 75% less CO2 emissions than virgin polyester, reduces water usage by 90%, and to top it all off, it makes your Serendipity look amazing; ).

Our Packaging is made from recycled cardboard, each kilo spent entails the commitment of our supplier to plant trees with a greater positive impact than that consumed.
The hanging tag that accompanies your Serendipity has a double life: our signature on the one hand, a space to dedicate it yourself on the other.
Every detail is part of our essence, we not only seek to make backpacks, but special companions for your day to day.
There is still a long way to go, we will continue learning with each step, looking for new ways to surprise you, but always trying to be faithful to our project, to the vision of a different quality fashion.
